Linda Smith Obituary
She is survived by her children: Jennifer Goodson (David Wright), Michael Hollis, Sondra Smith, Loyd Smith; grandchildren: Garrett Shorter (Haley), Dylan Goodson, Zachery Goodson, LaShawn Knowles, Destine Knowles; six great-grandchildren; sisters: Nita Mays (Doug), Rita Collins (Wayne), JoAnn Lambert (Danny); brothers: Ronald Griffin (Angel), Donald Griffin; brother-in-law: Jim Hood; seven nieces and ten nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Loyd Smith; sister: Jean Nann Hood; brother: Daniel Martin.
The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Joey Meeks officiating. Garrett Shorter, Dylan Goodson, Bobby Simmons, Tyler Wright, Zachery Goodson, LaShawn Knowles, Jason Goodson and Brock Wright will serve as pallbearers.
Interment will follow at Sweetwater Memorial Park.
