OBITUARY OF LINDA C. STAHL

Linda C. (Clark) Stahl passed away on December 12, 2025 in Williston, Florida under Hospice Care. Lyn was born in Bad Axe to Donald R. Clark and Jessie A. Clark on January 3, 1948. She married James F. Stahl at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Bad Axe on December 28, 1968 (in a blizzard). Together they had two sons Dr. Ryan H. Stahl (Brooke) of Perrysburg, Ohio and Heath J. Stahl (Elida) Royal Oak, Michigan who survive. She is also survived by a grandson, Seth Stahl and by her brother, Donald J. Clark (Joan) and her sister Catherine A. Hanson (Jeffrey). She was preceded in death by her parents, and her beloved sister and friend Cynthia J. Clark She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Lyn graduated from Bad Axe High School in 1966. From there she enrolled at Michigan State University from which she obtained Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Education. Upon her return to Bad Axe she began teaching in the Laker School System. During her long career she taught in the elementary and junior high schools, served as the Elkton elementary principal and coached boys and girls sports at both the elementary and junior high levels. Her early teaching career included traveling between elementary schools in the Laker system in a school bus converted to a portable classroom providing services to special needs students. After her retirement from teaching she became a licensed massage therapist engaged in practice from her home until approximately 2012 when she and Jim retired to the warmer climes of Florida. Lyn loved her pets, especially her Corgis, Max and Molly, her many trips to Disneyworld with her sister, Cindy and University of Michigan Football.

Pursuant to her wishes no funeral service is being held. Cremation has taken place and she will be interred in the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. Florida. A memorial service/celebration of life may be held in Huron County in the Spring. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105 or Shriners Hospitals for Children 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive Tampa, Florida 33609.
