HUDSON - Linda Kay Layne Stratton, 81, died December 6, 2025.
Born in Pikeville, KY, to the late Archer and Norma Jean Layne, she grew up in Betsy Layne, KY, and was a 65-year resident of Hudson.
Linda was a devoted homemaker and worked for many years as a physicians’ coordinator, EMT, and held various positions in the Hudson City School District. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her greatest joys were attending her grandchildren’s activities and events and sharing their accomplishments with them. Her interests included volunteering, cooking, crafting, reading, and music.
Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ted Stratton; daughter, Tammy (Jeff) Tuckerman; son, Todd (Meg) Stratton, and her grandchildren, Jacob, Caleb, Tristan, and Kellan.
Linda was an organ donor with Lifebanc.
In accordance with her wishes, no service will be held, and cremation has taken place.
