DELPHOS -- Linda R. Suever, age 96, of Delphos, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Mercy Health St. Rita's.
She was born October 24, 1928 in Fort Jennings to the late Leo and Elizabeth (Ellerbrock) Suever.
Linda is survived by her nieces, nephews and caregivers, Deb(Dan) Pothast, Tracey(Jim) Grothouse, Sue Hawk. Her many other nieces and nephews; Vickie Richards, Marlene Brand, Dan Youngpeter, Tim Youngpeter, Cindy Mohler, Scott(Pam) Suever, Bill Suever and Ray Grover, Kelly(Mark) Hackworth, Herb Suever, Larry Suever, Gary Suever, and her sister-in-law Joan Minnig.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas Suever, Leonard(Ruby) Suever and Herbert(Joyce) Suever; a sister, Dorothy(Albert) Youngpeter, nieces; Theresa Youngpeter and Cindy Youngpeter, and nephew John Hawk.
Linda was a 1946 graduate of Delphos St. John's. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She was retired from Delphos Vision, where she had worked for 66 years. She considered all of her coworkers there her extended family. Linda was an avid bingo player. She also enjoyed watching sporting events, especially the Cleveland teams and The Ohio State Buckeyes.
A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 10, 2025 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Fort Jennings.
Visitation will be from 2:00- 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, where a Parish Wake Service will be held at 4:45 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John's Parish Foundation. Online condolences may be shared at www.weberfh.net.

What a dear lovely lady who will be missed by her patients, family and friends...i met her at Delphos Vision Care and shared her love for fashionable and fun frames as well as those Cleveland Browns,Cavs and the forever Indians... she always knew the players, the scores and when the next game was going to be ...: a true fan ...didn´t matter if their record was good or bad... sending on 2 boxes of malley´s Buckeye Candy for the staff to enjoy and please share a heartfelt memory of our Linda and eat + enjoy in a celebration of her life! That´s what i am going to do!
