I lived on the same street as the Swacina family in Pine Bluff. They were good neighbors and friends. My husband and I have a wonderful memory of Linda. In 1981, she worked for an Arkansas congressman and arranged for us to attend Reagan's inauguration. We often speak about that magical day and how Linda made it happen. Please accept my sincere sympathy in her loss.

Linda, you were such a wonderful member of our class of 1975 in Springdale, Arkansas class. I remember working with you on yearbook and being the President of the PanAm club. You were such a nice and kind person that was smart, dedicated, adventurous and had a great sense of humor. I was looking forward seeing you at our 50th reunion this fall. God bless your loved ones that will miss you terribly.

My family was close to the Swacinas when they lived across the street from us in Pine Bluff. That connection survived when we all moved to other places. It was particularly interesting to watch Linda's career. My sister, Kate Lazear Merrill, and I send our heartfelt condolences, Beth Lazear Bingley.
