Linda Frann Evans Taggart, 78, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
Linda was born on May 24, 1947, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Bainor Evans and Sarah Gordon Evans. She was raised in Rochelle and proudly graduated in 1965 as part of the very first class of Northside High School. Two years later, in 1967, she married her sweetheart, Randy, and together they built a loving family.
Professionally, Linda dedicated many years to civil service, working as an F-15 Wing Shop Planner until her retirement. Never one to stay idle, she later found a second career in real estate, serving the St. George Island area with warmth and dedication.
Linda had a keen eye for beauty and history, often spending her free time at estate sales and collecting antiques. Above all, family was the heart of her life—her greatest joy came from time spent with her grandchildren, creating memories they will cherish forever.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Scott Evans.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, Randy G. Taggart; son, Chris Taggart (Kelly); grandchildren, Kylee Daniels (Heith), Evan Taggart, and Tallon Taggart; sister, Jackie Largaespada (Mario) and sister-in-law, Vicki Evans, along with many other loving family members and friends.
A memorial gathering will be Friday, June 20, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Linda Taggart to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or online at https://www.stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html.
