Linda Ruth Young Taylor passed to her heavenly home on September 4, 2023, at the age of 76.

Linda was born on February 5, 1947, in Jackson, Tennessee to J.D. and Ruth Young.  She lived her entire life in Jackson, Tennessee.  She attended public schools including Jackson High.

She enjoyed cooking.  Family and friends looked forward to her Dressing every year at Thanksgiving.  Beautiful flowers put a smile on her face.  She delighted in playing the piano, singing, and attending church.  She loved her family and friends.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Ricky Taylor and a daughter, Renay Taylor.

Those left to cherish her memories are daughter, Connie Cook and husband Bob and two sons, Richard Taylor and wife Patty and Kirk Taylor.  She was affectionally known as Mamaw to her three Grandchildren, Crissi Rader and husband Ashton, Nathan Taylor, and Hannah Taylor.  Her pride and joy were two great-grandchildren, Kiley and Hunt Rader.  She also leaves many nieces, Nephews, family, and friends with fond memories of her.

A special thank you to a special sister-in-law, Barbara Taylor, for the love and care given to Linda.

SERVICES:  A visitation for Linda will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until 3:00 p.m.  A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors.  The committal will follow the service at Ridgecrest Cemetery.
