Linda Tidwell Obituary
The daughter of Dale Calvin and Evelyn June (Clinesmith) Hamilton, she was born August 19, 1951 in Enid, Oklahoma.
Linda graduated from the Guymon High School in 1969. She and Buck Tidwell were united in marriage on February 12, 1972 in Straight, Oklahoma. Linda was a secretary with Attebury Grain in Gruver, retiring in 2016. She was an active member of the Gruver First Christian Church, serving as treasurer and was active with the church food bank.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Evelyn; step-father, Otto Gieselmann; brother, Doug Pracht and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Tidwell.
Survivors include her husband, Buck of the home; two sons, Crockett Tidwell and wife, Melinda of Lubbock, Texas and Brady Tidwell and wife, Tawnya also of Lubbock; one brother, Ken Hamilton and wife, Linda of Garden City, Kansas; and four grandchildren: Skylar, McKenna, and Lyndry Tidwell, and Jesse Asiatico.
Visitation will be Friday December 12th between the hours of 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. at the Gruver First Christian Church. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon, December 13, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gruver First Christian Church with Pastor Gary Gumfory officiating. Interment will follow in the Gruver Cemetery.
The Tidwell family request memorials to the Gruver First Christian Church. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942. Friends can sign the online guest book and leave condolences at www.bunchroberts.com.
