Linda Darlene Vining

Linda Darlene Smith Vining, 70, of South Daytona, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 3rd, 2025.
Born on April 13th, 1955 in Anderson South Carolina. Her parents were Barbara and John Boyd Smith, she had two brothers John "Buck" Smith and Mike Smith. Linda lived a life filled with love, laughter, and kindness. She was married to James Vining until 1999, and together they raised two daughters, Sonia and Tonya, who were the pride of her life. Linda was a devoted mother and grandmother, nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her seven beautiful grandchildren - Hailey, Olivia, Tierney, Lucas, Mataya, Avery, and Monswalous.
Linda worked as a retail sales associate for many years, where her friendly smile and warm spirit made every customer feel like family. In her younger years, she earned her cosmetology license, reflecting her lifelong love of beauty and creativity.
She adored Elvis Presley, enjoyed collecting bells, salt and pepper shakers, and cookie jars - each one a small piece of her playful, sentimental heart. Those who knew Linda will remember her as sweet, kind, and just a little bit crazy - in all the best ways.
She will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Linda's celebration of life is to be determined
