Linda Zachery

Linda Zachery, age of 76, passed away on October 31, 2025. She was born on August 7,1949 to the late Jim Levi Zachery and Luella Winters Zachery.

She accepted Christ at Mount Hebron Baptist Church, where she began a walk of faith and devotion to the Lord.

Linda received her education in the Houston Independent School District and graduated from Phillis Wheatley High School in 1967. The following year, she married her high school sweetheart, Dan Williams, Jr. Together they were blessed with one daughter, Charlotte Michele.

Linda was a kind, thoughtful, and generous woman whose gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was a gifted calligrapher, admired for her beautiful handwriting and attention to detail. A lover of nature and gardening, Linda took great pride in maintaining a lush and vibrant lawn-it was not unusual to see her outside watering her yard, umbrella in hand, caring for her plants with joy and patience.

Linda was preceded in death by her loving parents, Luella and Jim Levi Zachery and her sister, Phyllis Zachery.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory: her devoted daughter, Charlotte Sims (Warren), six beloved grandchildren – Stephen, Trophie, Zachary Levi, Katy Esperanza, Erma Linda and Diamond Warrenne, ten great-grandchildren: one loving sister Barbara and two devoted brothers, James Zachery (Tonia) and Eddie Zachery (Lisa) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Linda's life was a true reflection of love, faith and grace. Though she has departed from this earthly home, her light continues to shine brightly through the lives she touched.
