We are deeply saddened to announce that Lindsay Taggart Salisbury passed away on March 17, 2026. Lindsay was born on June 1st, 2004 in Salt Lake City UT.
Lindsay had such a great sense of humor, with a knack for lightening the mood no matter the situation. He would share the most outrageous and hilarious memes to keep us laughing constantly. The dinner table was never dull with his perfectly timed and off-kilter movie quotes and hilarious insights into current events. He loved all kind of music ranging from classic crooner’s like Frank Sinatra to heavy metal like Iron Maiden. He didn’t discriminate in his love for creativity and unique hobbies, like his most recent interest in crochet. He had a knack for falling asleep anywhere he was, and we would often find him napping in what looked like the most uncomfortable positions. He never missed an opportunity to get some much needed rest.
Lindsay loved sports but especially football. He would pay close attention to the players and their stats, playing fantasy football with his friends and watching games religiously with family to cheer his favorite team, the San Fransisco 49’s on.
Lindsay was a proud member of the US Army’s 11th Airborne Division, stationed in Anchorage, Alaska. He began talking about joining the Army as a teenager to protect the people and ideals he loved. After years of hard work to prepare physically and mentally, he shipped off in early 2025, graduated Basic and Airborne training as a strong, honorable soldier, and we are so proud of him for making his choice and following through with dignity and honor.
He faced life’s challenges head on with bravery and courage, protected those he loved with ferocity, and cared deeply for his family and friends. The bonds he created in this life will live on, and his love and protection continue to guide us from the other side.
Lindsay is survived by his parents, Lindsay and Jessica, his siblings, James Hunter, Kaliegh Madison, Emma Kiley, and his loving orange cat Mr. Beans.
A service for Lindsay will be held on Saturday, April 4th at White Pine Funeral Services, 753 S 100 E Logan, UT starting at 1:00 pm. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm at the funeral home.
