Matthew "Lindsey", 63, and Lisa (McMichael) Anatra, 61, of Crestline, entered their eternal life together on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
Lindsey was born on September 22, 1962, in Crestline to the late Matthew Anatra and Patricia (Fawcett) Carey. Lisa was born on September 24, 1964, in Crestline to the late Doyle McMichael and Linda (Poole) McMichael, who survives them in Crestline.
Both graduates of Crestline High School, Lindsey, Class of 1981 and Lisa, Class of 1982. Their unwavering love and devotion to one another since high school led them to join hands in marriage on October 10, 1987, cherishing 38 years together.
Nothing brought them more joy than being "Paw" and "Grammy" to their beloved grandchildren, Luca and Charlotte, who were the lights of their lives. Whether attending games, hosting family gatherings, or simply enjoying time with their many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, Lindsey and Lisa found true happiness in the people they loved.
Together, they were active members of the community and served proudly on the Little League Board, supporting local families and young athletes. Their shared commitment to giving back was reflected in everything they did.
Lindsey attended Terra Tech, earning his HVACR certification in 1986, and most recently worked as an HVACR Technician for Wadsworth Solutions. He was known for his dedication, skill, and pride in his work. Outside of his profession, Lindsey coached baseball for many years, encouraging young athletes with patience, humor, and wisdom.
He also previously owned and operated Working Joe's Coffee, a role he loved, especially because it allowed him to send bags of coffee to friends and family-small tokens of his thoughtfulness. Lindsey enjoyed woodworking projects and often crafted end tables and other handmade gifts that now serve as cherished mementos. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and was a proud member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #859 in Crestline.
Lisa earned her associate's degree in business from North Central State College and served as a domestic relations case manager for the Crawford County Court System, where she was known for her compassion, professionalism, and dedication to helping others.
A tireless volunteer, Lisa gave her time to countless community organizations. She served as a school board member and held the position of treasurer for the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #859 in Crestline. She also coached basketball, was involved in the Crawford County Republican Party, and contributed her energy and leadership wherever it was needed.
Lisa loved running and was incredibly proud of completing the Nashville half marathon in 2024, along with many local 5Ks. Her determination, spirit, and enthusiasm were evident in every step she took.
Lindsey and Lisa leave behind a legacy of generosity, commitment, and unconditional love. Their hearts were rooted in family, community, and each other. While their passing leaves an unimaginable void, the impact they made on those around them will be carried forward for generations.
