Lindsey Christine Estep was born on July 13th 1994 in Milwaukee, WI. On Nov. 16th 2024 she sadly left unexpectedly to be in the arms of our Lord. She will be deeply missed by so many loved ones and by those that do not get the opportunity to meet her. She leaves behind her Father, Arvid; Mother, Christine; Sister, Casi (Curtis); Brothers, Nick and Lafayette; Grandmother, Patsy Estep; many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins; Nephew, Brendan and Special Cousins, Mathew and Nico. To know Lindsey was to know a little girl and Woman full of life, vitality and light. This girl, now a Woman, was always full of surprises. She knew how to light up a room whether it be with laughter and love or her compassion for those around her. Even though Lindsey was very beautiful and worked as a model, it was her heart that truly shined. She had a way of recognizing those in need; whether it be someone needing a friend, food, clothing or a surprise gift to lift them up. A few examples are from a very young age when she had taken baby clothes from her chest to give to the neighbor that was expecting. Another time she was walking out the door to the bus without a coat, and when asked why she didn't have it on, she replied she gave it to a girl that didn't have anything nice to wear. Once I remember Lindsey rushing me out of the grocery store because she had bought a homeless man a warm dinner with her own money and didn't want it to get cold. The list and stories are never ending and so many I know that I was not around to see. Lindsey was the girl in princess dress, playing in the mud with her brother or spending her allowance on someone in need. She will truly be missed here on earth, but someday we will get to see her again in heaven. I love you Lindsey and will miss you every day! Lindsey was met in heaven by Grandfathers, Jim and Arvid; Grandmothers, Joan and Marylou. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a monetary gift to the Greater Grand Rapids YMCA in memory of Lindsey Estep, so that her gift to the less fortunate can continue on. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday December 1, 2024 at Ada Christian Reformed Church, 7152 Bradfield St. SE, Ada, MI 49301. Family will be received at 1:00 pm prior to the Funeral. Refreshments to follow in the lower level of the church.
