Lindsey Marie Newell was born on November 1, 1990 in Denver Colorado. Her parents, Dwight and Cindy, anxiously awaited the birth of their daughter, who was born with beautiful red hair and green eyes. Little did they know how much joy she would bring to their lives.
Lindsey attended Kohl Elementary, Broomfield High, and graduated from Centaurus High School in 2010. After graduation Lindsey attended the Imagine! Adult Day program where she met many life-long friends. Lindsey had the best birthday parties every year, and her friends loved coming and celebrating with her. The parties always ended with everyone gathering in the yard to release balloons in celebration of Lindsey's birthday.
Lindsey loved her bunnies and you would always hear her asking everyone if bunnies were cute? She loved talking with people about their pets and if they were good dogs or cats. Lindsey loved painting, doing arts and crafts, swimming, walking and talking with neighbors. She was a very talented artist and was always excited to sell one of her paintings at the Dairy Social. Lindsey also loved the many road trips she made every summer with her parents to see all of her extended family in Montana. She loved sharing Peanut M&Ms with her Grandpa.
Lindsey had many sayings that would make you laugh. She called EMTs and Firemen "Hot Babes", and would ask them to let her see their muscles. She would always ask "how many Full Houses until we eat?", and whenever Lindsey had to give blood or get a shot, she would smile really big, flutter her eyelashes, and tell the technician or doctor that she loved them! Lindsey referred to a couple of her uncles, beautician and her dentist as the "Muscle Men/Women".
Those left to cherish Lindsey's life are her parents, Dwight and Cindy Newell of Lafayette, Colorado; Her Uncles Duane, Mark, Michael, Darrel, Nick, and Frank; her Aunts Linda, Leslie, Patty, Sandy, and Cathy; plus her many cousins, Melissa and her peers, and staff at Imagine!
Lindsey left the loving arms of her Mom and Dad on March 21, 2025. A Celebration of her life will be held on April 10, 2025 at 4:00 pm at A&I Avenues, 1665 Coal Creek Drive, Lafayette, Colorado. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Lindsey's honor to Imagine! 1400 Dixon Ave, Lafayette, CO 80026

A Girl who just loved Bunnies
Bunnies have cute furry ears, twitchy noses, and soft fur.
Bunnies hopping with fascination in their heart mean no harm.
Bunnies nibbling on your carrots and snacks; "Busted".
Bunnies are cute!
Bunnies hopping around to bring joy to all who may watch.
Bunnies greet the morning to start the day, "Good Morning".
Bunnies are cute!
Bunnies live in their own world, a life filled with hope and love.
Bunnies bring simple joy and a smile to our faces.
Bunnies are kind, innocent, and free.
Bunnies are cute!
You are that beautiful girl who loves bunnies.

My Beautiful Girl
When I see those beautiful eyes, it reminds me of the love when you were born.
When I see that beautiful mouth, it reminds me of the first smile greeting me when you were born.
When I hear your voice, it reminds me of the sounds greeting me when you were first born.
When I hear people say, "Good morning," it reminds me of you beginning your day.
When I see the sun rise, it reminds me of the unconditional love we share.
When I see the sunset, it reminds me of the time we had, one day at a time, and I am blessed for each day we had together.
You are the beautiful girl who made me who I am today.

It´s hard to put into words what Lindsey meant to me. I met her over 15 years ago, and from that moment on, she became family. Her laughter, her sass, her incredible sense of humor-she made life brighter just by being in it. I´ll carry her memory with me always, and I´m so thankful for all the fun times we shared.

My heart goes out to all who loved her-may we find comfort and strength
in the joy she gave us as we remember her beautiful spirit. She was deeply loved and will be missed more than words can ever say. Rest in Peace sweet Angel.

So many memories of Lindsey..... but one of the most vivid is of her beautiful long red hair in braids. Such an energetic young lady. Our son has been in the same programs at Imagine with Lindsey for fifteen years. During COVID it was so entertaining to be able to get to know Lindsey online. We will miss seeing Lindsey everyday at drop-off and pick-up at Imagine, she truly lived the best of her life. Our deepest condolences to both her Mom and Dad. As parents of a special needs son, we only see what a great blessing God has bestowed upon you and your precious daughter. Our prayers for strength, in your deep loss.
