Born on October 30, 1960, Lionel was one of a kind - full of humor, heart, and a larger-than-life spirit. He had a gift for making people laugh, whether through a good joke, a funny story, or his signature way of "talking a little smack" just to keep things lively. Behind his tough, joking exterior was a man with one of the kindest souls you could ever meet.
Lionel loved the simple joys of life - a good day out fishing, cooking up something delicious in the kitchen, especially for his family and spending time surrounded by family and friends. He had a way of turning any moment into a memory. His generosity knew no limits; he was the type of man who would give you the shirt off his back and still make you laugh while doing it.
He leaves behind countless memories, stories, and laughs that will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends. Lionel's legacy is one of generosity, joy, strength and love - a reminder to live boldly, laugh often, and never pass up a good time.
Though he may be gone from our sight, Lionel will never be gone from our hearts. May he rest peacefully, surrounded by the same laughter and love he brought into this world every day.
Lionel is survived by his daughters, Analise Huertas and Natalie Huertas; his loyal dog, Hennessy; his ex-wife and lifelong friend, Ana Lydia Huertas; his sons-in-law, Alexander Torres and Anthony Santa, and grandchildren, Dyanara and Gisselle Santa.
