Departed this life February 20th, 2024. Lionel H. Hampton, age 49, of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Delphine Hampton, five children, Shaquille Prados and Malaki, Leilani, LaNia and Lionel Hampton; three grandchildren; parents, Lionel and Joanne Hampton; maternal grandmother, Ida Mae Zanders; one sister, Tanzenique Hampton; one brother, Terrill J. Hampton; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; mother- in- law, Hassena Cooper, father- in- law, William Graham; one sister- in- law, LeQuita Graham; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mr. Hampton can be viewed Thursday from 10AM to 8PM and where funeral services will be held Friday at 3PM. Interment private. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 2:45PM Friday.
