Lisa Aspel, 46, of New Lenox was born in Palos Heights, IL to Daniel and Ursula Aspel and passed away November 5, 2024. Beloved wife of Jason Maeder; loving mother of Kayla Aspel, Daniel Maeder, and Joseph Maeder; dear sister of Ursula Aspel; adored daughter in law of Ron and Marie Maeder; fond aunt of Jack Weaver, Jess Weaver, Madison Maeder, Nathan Maeder, and Lucas Maeder; dear friend of many. Lisa loved spending date nights with her kids, relaxing on the beach and listening to the waves, cheering at soccer games for her boys, empowering her daughter to chase her dreams, bowling with her friends, singing karaoke, and of course all animals. If you were lucky enough to know Lisa, you know the feeling of her intense, determined, and unwavering love.
A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel on Monday November 11, 2024 from 3-8pm. Chapel prayers at the funeral home will be the following morning at 9:30am. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at St Jude Catholic Church New Lenox at 10am. Interment to follow at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery Orland Park.
