Lisa Braun Obituary
Lisa was a devoted mother, partner, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. Her friends and family were her life. She enjoyed concerts, dancing, spending nights out with friends, and nights in watching movies with her children Sarah and Daniel. Lisa loved spending summers at Lake Michigan, especially camping at Nordhouse Dunes. She was an educator at Novi Middle School for over 20 years; teaching was one of her greatest passions. Lisa is survived by her brother, Lindsay Braun, her children, Sarah and Daniel Zrull, the family dog, Daisy Lou, and life partner, Joseph Zrull. We will carry her with us in everything that we do. A memorial will be held on November 21st, 2022 from 2 to 6pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home in Plymouth, MI. Friends and family are welcome to attend.

I´m Ava I was one of Mrs.Brauns 7th grade students just a bright 3 years ago, I remember always walking into that class and smiling it was always so fun. The news truly broke my heart. You will surely be missed in the novi school district.

I am neha one of mrs Braun students I had mrs Braun when I was in7th grade in 2016 she was a good teacher she taught us really well and her humor made us laugh I got this news on Friday I had some tears I can´t believe it I am really devastated hearing this she is sweet and she´ll be loved by all of us

It was a pleasure to work with Lisa for 13 years. I can picture her radiant smile and recall her infectious laughter. She was a conscientious and caring teacher and a loving mom. My sincere sympathy to Lisa´s family and friends.

I met Lisa via Joe (through work). We didn't hang much, but I will always remember the Beastie Boy's Concert in Detroit. Such a fun night. Sending my love to Joe and the Kids during this time.

I got to work with lisa for almost ten years in Novi. She always made the day better for everyone she saw. She was confident, bright, energetic and always brought smiles to those around her. She was unflappable and smooth in the classroom and made work feel like family outside of it. I am going to miss her as will her whole Novi Middle School family.

I first met Lisa when she began teaching Novi Middle School when it was on Taft Rd. Lisa was always eager to learn, make connections with her students, and contribute her many skills to making our middle school great. She absolutely adored her children and spoke often of their achievements and how she loved being their Mom. Lisa will be missed by her Novi Middle School friends both past and present. My thoughts, love, and prayers are with her beloved family.
