Lisa Crooks Bryant, 70, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Jerry Glenn Bryant entered into eternal rest after a long battle with cancer on Thursday, August 28, 2025. Her Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, at 2:30 pm. The family will receive friends a half hour before the service, starting at 2:00 pm .
Lisa was born on October 5, 1954, in Russell, Kentucky, the daughter of the late John Crooks and Nell Ruth Crooks. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She studied at the University of Kentucky, where she built lasting friendships and memories, and was a loyal and dedicated executive assistant for over 40 years. Known for her kindness, quick-witted humor, and infectious laugh, she had a way of making every day a little brighter.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jerry G. Bryant, her sons and daughters-in-law, Cody and Jessica Bryant, and Nicholas and Crystal Bryant, her sisters, Cathy Crooks Galloway and Kimberly Crooks Rice, and life-long friends and honorary sisters Mary Lamb and Margaret Henry. Her loved ones will forever cherish her memory and carry forward her love, compassion, and strength.
An additional service will be held for friends and family in Kentucky at a later date.
