Lisa Ann Cassity, born November 7, 1960, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 6, 2025.
Lisa is survived by her mother, Betty Cassity, and her siblings: Donna Garner, Mike (Sheila) Cassity, Rene (Robert) Pinkard, and Virginia (Randy) Carithers. The Cassity siblings will simply not be the same without her.
Dozens of nieces and nephews lovingly knew Aunt Lisa as the humorous aunt, who often made them laugh, always made them feel cheered for, and also made them crafty treats for Christmas Eve.
She is also survived by her spoiled little dog, Lexie.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Norwood Cassity, Jr., and grandparents: Norwood and Flossie Cassity, Sr., and Victor and Grace Smith.
She was a lifelong member of College Park Baptist Church, where she could always be counted on to serve in numerous capacities. She was a friend to many, each of whom were blessed by her faith and authenticity.
Always an avid sports lover, Lisa enjoyed playing softball, and following local sports teams such as the University of Mobile Rams and The University of South Alabama Jaguars. However, her greatest fandom was reserved for her nieces and nephews in their respective events.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 12 Noon. The family will receive friends from 11am until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Lisa's memory to support the ministries of College Park Baptist Church, 8600 Celeste Road, Saraland, Alabama.
