I can't believe it's been 4 years since you've been gone. I wanted to light this candle to let you know you're thought of.

I did not know Lisa as a child or even in her teenage years. I only knew her as a beautiful young woman whom I met through her parents (who are my dearest friends). Lisa always had a smile. She accepted my hugs with open arms as I did hers. She was always there for others, especially her family. Her cards & notes sent to me over these past four months always seem to arrive on a day when they were most needed. She always would include "hugs'. She was there for me in her own quiet way.
I love her like a little sister and I will miss her. I'm sure she was greeted in heaven by a host of angels and one of them was my husband.

Lisa is behind me in this picture.

Lisa and I became really good friends in high school when we were both majorettes. As with time we lost touch with each other but recently found each other on Facebook. We talked about Cape May and how we were both probably there at the same time on the same beach! We both wanted to try and get together for a long over due reunion!

I didn't know Lisa was sick and was shocked and heart broken to hear of her passing. My deepest sympathy to Lisa's family at this very sad time.

I've attached a photo of Lisa and I in one of the many parades we were in.

My dear friend, I will think of you often as I have so many memories of us together. You will be missed by so many and will always be a part of my life. I love and miss you Lisa.

I was shocked when I heard that Lisa had passed. My condolences to all of her families. In your sorrow remember GOD has taken her home. She no longer has to fight for her life. GOD must have very big plans for Lisa to take her so young. I hope this message helps to ease your sorrow just a little bit. You have all her memories in your hearts.

Was so sad to hear about Lisa's passing. We lived and hung out together on the same street in Lansdale when our kids were growing up and I have very fond memories of that time. Sending prayers of comfort at this sad time. She will be remembered and missed.

Lisa and I became friends back in 1970 when we were classmates in 6th grade at Highland School. Stayed good friends especially during our marching band days in high school. I will always cherish the great memories of that time we were friends! My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

"My best friend gave me the best advice
He said each day's a gift and not a given right
Leave no stone unturned, leave your fears behind
And try to take the path less traveled by
That first step you take is the longest stride...." - Nickelback

A song, I gotta say Lisa learned to live, a memory she leaves with me and others who love her. But the last step is actually the longest, and she took that too, more bravely than I could imagine. I mourn the loss of her and for the unimaginable pain being endured my her family....my family. I pray for her and my brother's family, who she cherished so much. But I know she has found peace and comfort. I pray you have the strength to live "God's will be done", as we have professed. Lisa's parents, Emily, Michael and my brother Vince, I pray you see thru the pain, to the joy of the gift you were given with Lisa and so were able to share with others who love her.
