Lisa Marie Brown, 63, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025.
She was born on July 7, 1962, in Akron, Ohio, a daughter of the late William E. and Lydia J. (Edminister) Brown. Lisa worked for Genie Garage Doors on the assembly line. Outside of her career, she found her greatest joys in being outdoors—whether camping, hiking, playing in the creek, or tending to her yard with care. Lisa was also an artist who enjoyed drawing portraits, and she also loved playing games, building hiking trails, and traveling whenever she could.
She was known for her kind and caring heart, her playful sense of humor, and her ability to strike up a conversation with anyone. Lisa truly never met a stranger. Most of all, she cherished every moment spent with her family and loved ones.
She is survived by her daughter, Anna-Maria (Cory Balder) Del Toro; her two sons, Andrew Thomas (Brittani Mullen) Del Toro and Matthew Alexander (Juliet Taylor Briar) Del Toro; her grandchildren, Selina Marie Balder, Zaysha L. Neuman, Link A. Neuman, Russell McBride and Rylan McBride; siblings Laura (Brian) Apperson; Tammy (Dan) Edminister; Barbara Rine; Brian (Julia) Brown; and Michael Brown.
In addition to her parents, Lisa is preceded in death by the father of her children, Ramiro Del Toro; her son-in-law, Tim Neuman.
In keeping with her wishes, a caring cremation will take place. The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Brown family.
