Lisa Louise Romano, a longtime resident of Providence passed away on March 25, 2025, at Rhode Island Hospital. Lisa was 60 years old.
She was born on November 12, 1964, in Providence and was the daughter of the late Delphina (Dacunha) and Salvatore Romano, Sr. A lifelong and devout Catholic, Lisa carried deep and true faith. Ms. Romano was a graduate of Hope High School in Providence and later worked in a nursing home as a nurse's assistant before finding her true calling in retail. Her outgoing nature and passion for people landed Lisa several management positions throughout the years. She also spent a few years living in Binghamton, NY before coming back home to Rhode Island.
A true character, Lisa, enjoyed making people laugh. She was truly a hot ticket in every sense of the word. She loved all kinds of music and dancing. Lisa's spitfire nature will be missed and the imprint she has left will never be forgotten. Her nieces and nephews were fiercely loved and adored by their aunt.
Lisa Louise Romano is survived by her sisters Sally Ann Santiago and Cheryl Lourenco as well as her brother Salvatore Romano, Jr. In addition to her parents, Lisa is reunited with her sister, the late Delphina ""Dellie"/"Del" Romano. Lisa is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be held on Thursday April 3rd from 9-11am in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls. A funeral service will be celebrated following the visitation at 11am in the funeral home. Committal will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery 550 Wampanoag Trail in Riverside (East Providence).
