Lisa Renee Salefski, 53, of
Dalton City, IL passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
A service to honor Lisa's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation two hours prior to the service. Lisa will be laid to rest in Findlay Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to Cancer Care Specialists of Illinois, Decatur Office.
Lisa was born on November 9, 1969 in
Decatur, IL, the daughter of David Salefski and Linda (Behrens) Rothman. Lisa worked as a billing specialist for Cancer Care Specialists of Illinois. She enjoyed shopping and being known as "Grandma Snacks" for her love of eating snacks. She loved all of her cats and also her beloved dog Dutchess. Lisa was loved by everyone that knew her.
Lisa is survived by her high school sweetheart: Aaron L. Hill of
Dalton City, IL; mother: Linda Rothman of Scottsdale, AZ; mother-in-law: Sarah M. Hill of Long Creek, IL; special friends: Jenna Collins, April Kerwood, Rene White, Darla Kersten, Samantha Cummings, Connie Fletcher, Deena Warrick and a host of loving co-workers.
She was preceded in death by her father: David Salefski, maternal grandparents: Leonard and Roscella Behrens, paternal grandparents: Walter and Clara Salefski, father-in-law: Willis A. Hill.
