I still can't believe your not here...
I can't believe that you are not going to pick up your phone or respond to a text. I am blessed to have memories of our laughs, cries, and everything in between...

Lisa was able to tell a story like no one else. Her delivery and details always brought a smile to my face.
Today is another day that you are missed.

I was sad and surprised to hear about the sudden passing of Lisa. Over several years I got to know her and she was always very kind, funny, smart, creative, amazingly witty, and reliable, going out of her way to help other people even if only to make them laugh when having a bad day. Memories of various celebrities heads taped on popsicle sticks, saying I can't and just walking away, and always referring to me formally are almost daily things that made me laugh. Though I mainly knew her from work, I had spent some time with her outside with mutual friends and only ever saw her be kind and caring to everyone.

One of the things I most admired about Lisa is her intelligence and capability of disagreeing with you without offending you. After getting into a discussion about substance abuse (the field she worked in), I recall having a debate with her over an hour about the moral and legal culpability of someone who performed a criminal act sober versus someone under the influence. Regardless of what the conversation or situation was about, she always seemed to bring out the best in people and made you feel cared about while at the same time humorously making you feel like you need to read more.

I won't forget Lisa. It has been over two years since I last saw her and we were never close friends, yet her passing has affected me deeply. She was a genuine, thoughtful, kind person who cared deeply for people and animals, including her two cats, and always helped to reduce suffering. It is sad and almost incomprehensible to me to consider each moment of my life from this point forward will be a moment she isn't out there making someone laugh, helping someone, or just enjoying life. She had very close friends who loved her and would have done anything for her. I can't imagine the loss they feel. It's both unfortunate and beautiful I guess that in life when you lose someone you love you at the same time lose someone irreplaceable forever.

I'm sorry this happened to you, Lisa.
