Lisa Twilley Obituary

Lisa Leann Twilley, nee Majewski, age 65 of Mount Airy, Maryland passed peacefully at BridgingLife - Dove House on October 31, 2025. She joins her mother and father, Evelyn and Leonard Majewski, older brother, Leonard, and baby sister, Rebecca Majewski, brothers-in-law Alan Barrick and Kenneth Burns in the arms of her savior Jesus.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Michael Joseph Twilley, daughter Melissa Renee Brown (Benjamin), sons Michael Ryan Twilley (Samantha), and Matthew Royce Twilley. Six sisters, two brothers, five sisters-in-law, six brothers-in-law, and countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Lisa, known as Lele by her grandchildren, was the loving grandmother of Eden, Holden, Liam, Elijah, and Samantha Brown, Lyla Twilley and Brentley and Oaklyn.

Her true passion was being a mother and the Lord. As a homemaker, Lisa not only raised her three children, but provided childcare to the neighborhood. Later she worked at Parrs Ridge Elementary in the cafeteria and then as a one-on-one aid for autistic children.

She loved spending time with her family, Christmas, waterskiing, camping, beachcombing for sea glass and shark teeth, and walking the neighborhood with friends.

In lieu of flowers and cards the family requests donations be made to BridgingLife – Dove House, Westminster, Maryland or to Calvery Lutheran Church, Mount Airy, Maryland.

Friends and family are invited to attend a church service for Lisa at Calvary Lutheran Church on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. A celebration of life to follow at a later date.
