Lisandro (Lee) Hernandez passed away on March 15th, 2024 at the age of 62. He was Born on August 29th, 1961 in Aguada, Puerto Rico to Natividad Rivera-Rojas & Ramon Hernandez to whom his mother, preceded him in death.
In his early years he attended PS. 67. He also went to Theodore Roosevelt High School in the Bronx. He was employed at B&B Construction in Long Island City, NY. Lisandro met and fell in love with his wife Donna Marie Peterson-Hernandez. They were married for 16 years., Lisandro Hernandez was a quiet, kind, and caring man, who gave unconditional love to his family and friends. He always had time to listen with people, he would welcome you in his home and he would give you his last against his step daughter’s better judgement at times. But he never wanted you to feel unwelcomed or without. Whenever you asked him to do something for you, he was always there.
Lisandro liked watching movies, recycling and took pride in spending time with his family and friends. He always had a smile on his face no matter the situation, he just enjoyed life to the fullest. Lee opened his doors to a numerous amount of people; he had such a kind quiet soul.
Lisandro is survived by his wife Donna Peterson-Hernandez, Four children, Lisandro Hernandez Jr (Jessica Hernandez) (FL), Jennie Hernandez (Jason Quintana) (BX), Marc Hernandez (PA), Kyitawnaya Williams (Derrick Williams) (MTV). Seventeen Grandchildren Tiara Mercado, Destiny Hernandez, Timothy Rosado, Alexis Hernandez, Jeniyah Hernandez, Max Hernandez, Jayden Olivencia, Janaysa Hernandez, Mariah Hernandez, Maniyah Hernandez, Serena Williams, Ava Colon, Maleah Hernandez, Noah Colon, Mason Hernandez, Chelsea Quintana, Bryson Quintana, One Great Granddaughter Alaiyna. His Father Ramon Hernandez and StepMother Elizabeth Robles, Mother-in-law Alice Middleton, fourteen siblings Lisette Hernandez, Linda Hernandez, Ana Bonilla, Eillen Hernandez, Wilfredo Agudo-Rivera, Nicholas Hernandez, Angel Hernandez, Esmeraldo Bonilla, Mary Peterson, Valerie Grant, David Peterson, Crystal Grant, Leesa Grant, Konata Williams, Aunts, Uncles and a host of Nieces, Nephews & Cousins.
