Lloyd Cox Obituary

Lloyd S. Cox, 71, of Paris, Hanover Township, passed away Monday morning, February 2, 2026, in Brightwood Center, Follansbee, W.Va. He was born September 17, 1954 in Follansbee, a son of the late Lloyd and Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Wolanski Cox. A 1972 graduate of the South Side Beaver High School, he was employed as a pipefitter for Crucible Steel in Midland, the Shippingport Nuclear Power Plant, Precision Kidd in Aliquippa, and O'Neal Steel in Ambridge. He enjoyed hunting, playing pool, softball and bocce. Lloyd is survived by his son, Stephen Cox and wife Kylee of Weirton, W.Va.; his stepchildren, Bobby Campbell of Clinton, Colleen Campbell and Chrissy Harshey- Webb of Weirton; grandchildren, Landon, Crimson and Harper Manypenny, Shane Ruggie and Brody Harshey; brothers, David Cox and wife Carol, Clark Cox, and John Cox and wife Joan Barnyak-Cox; his longtime companion and mother of his son, Stephen, Gerry Campbell; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased, in addition to his parents, are his sister, Joyce Adams and husband John; and his brother, Larry Cox. To honor Mr. Cox's wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
