I was stationed with Lloyd in the USAF in Thailand in 1969. I returned to the States two months before Lloyd. We stayed in touch a little bit upon his return, but life happened and we never communicated again. From time to time I would try to find him on the internet and other means, but could never find him. Now, on this day in 2024 I find his obituary. It is like a dagger in my heart. Lloyd was my best friend in Thailand. We did everything together. Most weekends we were in Bangkok having the time of our lives. Two young 20 somethings trying to make sense out of a war we did not believe in, and reminding each other that we had it right. Lloyd had my back and I had his. Many a night we would be hanging on to each other trying to find our way back to the barracks or to a local flop house we had paid for the night. I still miss him and wish that we could have returned to Thailand in our golden years and revisited some of our favorite places. My condolences to his family and friends. RIP my friend. I hope we meet again.

I don’t know to start .. first of all want to give my deepest sympathy to his daughter , family and christine.. He spoke highly of all.
Sorry so late however I just found out about Lloyd two days ago. I’m so saddened .
He brought so much fun, laughter to myself and late husband ( who the two had many common friends and did lots of talk over a glass of beer And a meal at Harry’s holfbrau) Lloyd was such a sweet guy to just talk to aft my husband passed and my dog took a special liking to him..
I’m devastated but happy to know he’s with his family, friends and my husband up there.. God Bless his sole.

Foley , Nicholas , Mulready and Lynch. We always found a way to enjoy the 50's.
We kind of split up a little at Serra. We stayed friends , the important part. I had many
crazy experiences with Lloyd. Our parents were friends. I had the gift of talking with Madelene Foley
at my Moms service in '98 , got the lowdown on how Lloyd was doing , the funniest guy I've ever met.
I am blessed to have spent my childhood with you.

I grew up with Lloyd. We attended Serra High School. He was a great guy . And had great sense of humor. Sorry we didn't stay in touch in our later years. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Our entire family was saddened to hear of Lloyd's passing. Dennis & Lloyd had a friendship that was decades old. Though we didn't see each often, we spoke on the phone regularly. We will miss Lloyd & those phone calls.
Our thoughts & prayers are with the family.

I am so glad we were able to reconnect these last few years. It was special to be able to spend quality time talking about the past, our parents, old friends and some crazy experiences dating all the way back to 1st grade at St. Gregory's. You left too soon, old friend. I, and many others, will miss you dearly!
