Lloyd Nelson Lauter, Jr 84, of Hanover, IN passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at River Terrace Health Campus in Madison, IN.
He was born on September 19, 1939, in Jefferson County, IN to Lloyd and Marjorie Joyce Lauter. He was a retired farmer and member of New Hope Community Church. He enjoyed fishing, bird watching, watching Laugh-In and Hee-Haw on TV, going to eat at Kingfish, and supporting the University of Kentucky Wildcats.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Lloyd Nelson, III, and son-in-law, Clayton Schott.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Miller Lauter; daughters, Nancy Robison (James) of Otisco, IN, Sharon Norris of Tampa, FL, and Dawn Wills (Bryan) of New Washington, IN; brothers, Rev. Roy Lauter (Sue) of Wilmore, KY and Galen Lauter (Mary) of Hanover, IN; grandchildren, Natasha Robison, Haley Rice (Logan), Michael Dickey (Mallory), Brandon Wills (Courtney), Brittany Wills and Nelson Norris; great-grandchildren, Lilah Rice, Lennon Rice, Violet Johnson, Eliana Wills and Braelynn Wills; many nieces and nephews and extended family members.
Life Celebration Services will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Paynesville, IN. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday and after 9:00 am on Tuesday.
