AUBURN / GRAFTON: Lloyd A. Roche, 82 passed peacefully at home March 18 2011 in the care of his wife and family. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Constance F. (Jacob) Roche, His two children Deborah Leger and her husband Ronald of Warren and Mark and his wife Peggy of Paxton, One sister Mary Snow of Grafton, His four grandchildren Sarah and her husband Lincoln Gay, Luke and his companion Lori Keniston, Meghan, Erin, three great grandchildren Gabrielle, Taylor, Teagan, several nieces and nephews. Three sisters Lillian Boucher, Hazel Birnie, Barbara Boutiette and three brothers William, Bernard and John Roche all passed before him. Mr. Roche was born June 4, 1928 in Grafton the son of the late John and Lena (Boutiette) Roche and lived most of his life in Grafton moving to Cape Cod from 1987 to 1992 and then to Auburn for several years. Lloyd attended Worcester Boys Trade Vocational High School and worked 32 years in Receiving at Wyman Gordon Co. in North Grafton retiring in 1987. He was a parishioner of St. Mary's Catholic Church in North Grafton, a former coach with The Grafton Little League and a member of the "Gung Ho Retirement Club at Wyman Gordon. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to VNA Care Hospice for their excellent care to Lloyd and his family during his time of need and asks that in lieu of flowers consider a memorial donation to VNA Care Hospice 120 Thomas St. Worcester MA 01608 or to St. Mary's Catholic Church 17 Waterville St. North Grafton MA 01536. Funeral services and interment in the care of The Roney Funeral Home in North Grafton will be at the convenience of Lloyd's family. There are no calling hours.
