Lloyd Robert Stallings Jr., age 81, of Mesquite, TX, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2025. He was born on January 5, 1944, in Cumberland, MD. Lloyd served his country honorably in the United States Army, enlisting on February 26, 1963, and achieving the rank of Sergeant before his discharge on January 31, 1969. After the military, Lloyd enjoyed a fulfilling career as a commercial truck driver and eventually an owner-operator after purchasing his own truck. He was then able to travel the country with his wife, Sandy, and their dogs Max and Larry. They made many great memories of the time they spent together. Known for his warm spirit and generous heart, Lloyd leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will continue to inspire all who knew him. His family will forever remember the laughter and the memories they shared, keeping his spirit alive in their hearts.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Stallings, Sr; his mother, Evelyn Stallings, and his son Charles (Chuck) Stallings
A dedicated family man, Lloyd is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra Stallings; his son, Bob Stallings and his wife Kendra; his daughter, Leisa Fink and her husband Dennis; granddaughter Brianna Stallings Vasquez and husband Javier; grandsons Preston Fink and Chandler Fink; great-grandchildren Leah Fink, Mila Vasquez; and Luka Vasquez; brothers Bill Stallings and his wife Gail; John Stallings and his wife Elisabeth
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 30th at 2:30 pm, followed by a chapel service at 3:30 pm
