I will never forget him. I worked under him & over him @ SVI-RT. He was one of those in the greatest generation that Peter Jennings wrote about. He could be as demanding as a drill seargent (get the txs done) but as sympathetic as a close family member (he teared up when we gave him a nice watch at his retirement).

I was very fond of Lloyd Strasner as a man dedicated to his country, his wife, and his work.
He was always impeccably dressed and was proud to say it was due to "Mrs. Marie".
I appreciated his professionalism, witty personality, and commitment to his work at St. Vincent. I worked with him there from 1977 until he left St. Vincent.
Condolences to his family. He was truly a great man.

I worked with Lloyd for many years at St. Vincent and he was such a fine, hard working person with a great sense of humor and a dedication to his work and the hospital. My condolences to his family.

Lloyd Strasner was a huge influence on my life at St Vincent. He was there when I started in 1975 and I got to attend his 90th birthday in 2008. He taught me a lot about our profession as well as the importance of a excellent work ethic. He was always there and always working. When he retired we sure missed him but were delighted to get to see him as a volunteer. What a guy! What a life! Condolences to his family but I know he knows he's in a better place.
