Locke "Paw" Davis, 84, of Weaverville, went to be with Jesus, on Friday, November 21, 2025. He was born on May 21, 1941, in Madison County, to the late Jeter and Stella Robinson Davis. Also preceding him in death are his wife of 52 years, Inez Honeycutt Davis who died in 2016; grandson, Austin Sams; and five brothers Willard, Bernard, Hardy, Clyde and Ernest Davis.

Locke was affectionately known as "Paw" and was an amazing Dad, Grandfather and Friend. He was a loving, prayerful, faithful Christian, who loved his Lord. Locke attended and was a member of Gospel Way Baptist Church. He was also a retired truck driver who enjoyed sharing his trucking stories with anyone who would listen.

He is survived by his daughters, Annette Riddle (Lamont), Patricia Sams (Robert), and Connie Bailey (Harlan) all of Mars Hill; brother, Johnny Davis (Irene); grandchildren, Darren, Amanda, Dale, Cole, and Garret; 9 great grandchildren with 2 on the way.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, November 24, 2025, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. Pastor Logan Buchanan will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Bethel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery, Weaverville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
