Logan Chitwood Obituary
He was born March 15, 2005 to Shane & Felicia Chitwood in Somerset, Kentucky. Logan held many outdoor hobbies, including fishing, horseback riding, hunting, swimming, and Jeep riding. He loved to spend time with his cousins, as well as time spent with his dad trapping. He aspired to become either a lineman or a welder. Logan was a member of West Science Hill Baptist Church and attended Sand Hill United Baptist Church.
He is survived by his parents, Shane & Felicia Chitwood; girlfriend, Jaciee Miracle; two brothers, Briar Zane Chitwood and Xavier Blane Chitwood; maternal grandparents, Crandell & Sharon Foster, Regina Blevins, and Michael Thomas; his great-grandfather, Larry Foster; aunts and uncles, CJ Foster, Tyler Thomas, Rachel Bowling, Rebecca Foster, Makayla Foster, Nathan Thomas, Rostin Foster, Josh Thomas, Makenzie Foster, Colton Foster, and Kendra Foster; best friend, Kayden Hall. He is also survived by many others too numerous to mention.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Abe & Lula Chitwood; great-grandparents, Ada Foster and Berniece Blevins; and his best friend, Gary Wayne Chitwood.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, November 3, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Staley officiating.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Burial will follow the service at the Chitwood Family Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy to take form in donations to the Logan Chitwood Memorial Fund c/o Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
