Shipman's Funeral & Cremation ServiceLogan Wesley McCoy was born July 27, 1983 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Freddy Don McCoy and Judith Ann (Hilinski) McCoy. He passed from this life on June 17, 2025 in Engelwood, Colorado at the age of 41.
Logan spent part of his school career at Porter Consolidated Schools before graduating from Pryor High School in 2002 where he enjoyed wrestling. He worked at JLs BBQ for quite some time, among other jobs in fast food, manufacturing, and landscaping. Logan spent most of his adult life in Oklahoma, around Pryor, Tulsa, and Pauls Valley before moving to the Denver area six months before his death.
Logan fathered two beautiful daughters: Trista McCoy and Alaynnah Fanshier-McCoy.
The good memories of Logan reveal a hard worker, generous heart, and goofy fun-loving personality.
He is preceded in death by his father Freddy McCoy and mother Judy Hilinski McCoy Burchfield, step-father Marty Burchfield, grandparents Laura Hilinski, Leo and Norma Hilinski, Alfred McCoy, and Lewis Wantland.
He is survived by his two daughters Trista and Alaynnah, sister Leila Troyer and husband Eric, sister Alyssa Bruce and husband Tyler, grandmother Billy Wantland, aunt Jody Hilinski and husband Patrick McGill , uncle Jack McCoy and wife Barbara, seven nieces and nephews, half-sister Allyson Crow, and numerous cousins, other family, and friends.
Logan’s remains will be interred at the same time as his father’s (Freddy Don McCoy) at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma on August 1st, 2025 at 10 am. Anyone is welcome to attend the graveside memorial service.
