Logan Ragan, of High River, passed away after a 2 ½-year battle with cancer on April 12, 2025 in Okotoks at the age of 78. He will be dearly missed by his daughters Annette Hanian (Tim) of Phoenix, AZ; Trisha Gagnon (Glen) of Okotoks, AB; grandchildren Logan Ragan (Celine) of Phoenix, AZ; Lexie Martin (Tory) of Grande Prairie, AB; great grandchildren Mila Ragan of Phoenix, AZ, Kiah Martin of Grande Prairie, AB and Baby Boy Martin of Grande Prairie, AB; his brother Wayne Ragan (Sherry) of Countess, AB; as well as many relatives and friends including his companion Gail Szabon of High River. He is also survived by his son Jason Ragan (Carrie) of Calgary, AB; grandchildren Kayley Prefontaine of Sherwood Park, AB; Paige Ragan of Calgary, AB; Jocelyn Ragan of Calgary, AB, Cole Ragan of Calgary, AB and Zachary Ragan of Calgary, AB. Logan is preceded in death by his parents Joe Ragan in 1990; Iva (Dahl) Ragan in 2003 and his wife Theresa (Pierson) Ragan in 2021.
Logan attended Forest Lawn High School where he met his wife Theresa of 54 years and became a part of the Pierson family. Logan graduated SAIT in their first Computer Technology program. Logan spent the majority of his career at Bridge Brand Foods in Calgary, retiring in 2005. After retiring, Logan was able to embrace a more casual life in High River which included learning to swim, golfing, marshaling, pickle ball, biking (motorcycle, pedal bike and then e-bike). He loved to be active and stayed active until his paralysis in December of 2024.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 10:00 am at Pierson’s Funeral Services, (4121 17 Avenue SE, Calgary, AB).

Cremation and arrangements are in the care of Pierson's Funeral Services.
In Lieu of Flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
The family also requests that you wear Hawaiian flare to the Celebration.
