Logan Robert Thompson was born in Pinehurst, NC on September 7, 2001 and welcomed home by his extended family. Our beloved son, LRT, "Tompo", Logan went to heaven on November 12, 2023, where he is now, in the loving embrace of his four grandparents, Bob and Barb Jarchow, Layton and Viola Thompson; and his uncle, Dave.
Logan had a heart of a lion, loved everything and everyone so hard, and felt so deep. He leaves behind his parents, Jennifer and Scott; his brother, Tyler; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will love him always.
Logan lived in North Carolina for ten years and moved with his family to North Dakota, where he went to school in Horace and West Fargo. The family then moved to the Perham area, where Logan finished high school. He played football and basketball, loved to draw, play Xbox, and listen to music. He worked hard at his jobs, most recently being at Key Contracting, and wanted to learn more every day.
Logan's struggle was very real. He did his best to overcome and understand all of his deep emotions. He couldn't carry his pain any longer.
Those who knew Logan, knew his passion for whatever he was involved with and that he lived life by his favorite quote: "Full send, or no send." He always had a hug to give or a smile that could warm up anyone near him. He loved animals of all kinds, with dogs being his favorite. Logan enjoyed church and loved God. He always wanted to do the right thing for anybody in his presence. Logan will forever be in the hearts of his mother, father, brother and by all those he left behind way too soon. His deep love for the people in his life will live on forever.
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by the memorial service at 11:00 on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Schoeneberger Funeral & Cremation Service in Perham. Burial will be in St. Henry's Catholic Cemetery in Perham.
