Mrs. Lois Lane Adams Wilkinson, 75, passed away peacefully at her home on November 15, 2023. She was born on March 28, 1948, in Independence VA to the late John and Edith Adams. Lois enjoyed crocheting, cooking, watching TV, especially Law & Order SVU. She also enjoyed 3 musketeer candy bars. Most of all, Lois loved the Lord and loved spending time with her grandbabies. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Terry Scott Wilkinson, three brothers; Jerry Adams, Joey Knox, and Johnny Knox, and a sister; Linda Freeman. Lois is survived by two daughters; Michelle Thomas (Shane), Malinda Crater, a son; Jason Wilkinson (Nikki) (Wendy), eleven grandchildren; Britiany Lawson (Andrew), Matt Wilkinson (Claire), Jimi Reid, Wesley Reid, Tabatha Martin (Travis), Randy Howard (Amanda), Jeffrey Crater, Shiann Wilkinson (Codey), Daven Wilkinson (Allie), Kaiden Wilkinson, and Lakin Wilkinson, twelve great-grandchildren; Tyler, Nova, Mia, Thad, Kyrin, Kason, Katlyn, Sierra, Rachel, Jordan, Angel, and Andrew, one great-great-grandson; Alex, two sisters which together with Lois were called the 3 musketeers, Martha Frye, and Marie Yates (Al), three more sisters; Sandra Smoake, Evelyn Brooks (David), and Judy Dinsmore, two brothers; David Adams (Leslie), and Bill Knox (Tina), and many adopted children and grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday November 19, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Bro. Frank Shumate officiating. Burial will follow at Gospel Light Baptist Church Cemetery in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday November 18, 2023, at the funeral home.
