Lois N. Anderson 80, of Cranston and Snug Harbor passed away on Thursday November 13, 2025 at Cedar Crest Nursing Centre. She was the beloved wife of the late Edwin L. Anderson.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Alice (Johnson) and C. Norman Peterson.

A life-long educator, Lois was a special education teacher in the Cranston Public Schools prior to working as a pre-school teacher at St. David's in Cranston for over 30 years. Lois was a faithful member St. Paul/Bethany Lutheran Church where she had served in many capacities. She especially enjoyed singing in the choir, serving on the church council and teaching Sunday School.

Lois is survived by her daughter Sherri B. Anderson of Cranston, son Erik Anderson and his partner Erin Laramie, grandchildren Kayleigh Anderson and Joshua Laramie all of South Kingstown as well as her grand dog Harley.

We extend our deepest gratitude to The Hope Center, Victoria Court, Cedar Crest, Hope Hospice, friends and members of the church for their compassion, care and support throughout extremely challenging times. The kindness shown, whether through a gentle word, warm smile, visits or the countless acts of dignity and respect, will never be forgotten.
