Lois 'Lullene' Angelos, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2024, at her home in Niceville, Florida, surrounded by her family. Born on March 31, 1933, in Youngstown, FL, she was the daughter of Thomas and Carrie Blue.
Lullene was raised in Chipley, Florida, and graduated from Vernon High School. On May 16, 1954, she married her devoted husband, Bill, and they recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary this year. Lullene found immense joy in cooking, thrifting, gardening, sewing, and fishing. She was renowned for her caring nature and the way she nurtured everyone around her.
Lullene is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Carrie Blue, and her sister Ann May. She is survived by her loving husband, William Angelos; her siblings, Tommy Hardy and Mack Blue; her children, Jennifer (Frank) Ogorzaly and Andrew (Tricia) Angelos; her grandchildren, Nicholas Ogorzaly, Danielle (Rob Schneider) Ogorzaly, Emily (Stephen) Ashley, Jenna (Chase) Patrick, Eli Angelos, and Nora Angelos; and her great-grandchildren, Troupe and Mary Glenn Ashley.
A funeral service to celebrate Lullene's life will be held on July 23, 2024, at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home in Niceville, FL. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM. A reception will be hosted at Crosspoint Church following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lullene's name to Crosspoint Church, Niceville.
Lullene will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the love she shared with her family and community. May she rest in peace, her memory cherished forever in our hearts.
