Lois L Brown, 84, of Wolf Point, Montana, passed away on November 1st of 2025 at the Billings Hospital Clinic due to a major stroke. Lois was born September 7th, 1941 in Wolf Point, Montana to John and Lou (Langager) Lindsay. She was the oldest of 3 siblings. Married soon after graduating from Wolf Point H.S. to David K. After nearly 20 years as a Navy wife and Mom where they were stationed in San Diego, CA, Guam, Whidbey Island, WA, San Diego, CA, Alameda, CA. When Dave retired she settled in Susanville, California and instantly fell in love with the town and region where she loved raising animals, specifically horses, although she had countless dogs, chickens, goats, cats and the list goes on dependant on the day of the week. Even though she ended up moving back to Wolf Point, Montana, a part of her still resided in Northern California. After several years working at the Homestead Inn and Nemont water in Wolf Point she found true peace at a small place South of the Missouri on the Redwater river. This little ranch had all the above animals plus "Attack" turkeys!

She is survived by her Brother Ed Lindsay (Bev) of Scobey, MT; son's, Durk of Wolf Point, MT and Clint (Minda) of Port Orchard, WA, Grandson's, Dusty (AJ) of Wolf Point, MT and Nicholas of Casper, WY; Granddaughter's, Valerie (Lois personified, just sweeter, haha) of EWA Beach, HI, Cassandra (Justin Okada) of EWA Beach, HI, and Diane.
