Lois J. Burns

Lois and I worked together at Hahnemann Hospital where we discovered we were both graduates of HHMH School of Nursing. I always looked forward to seeing her at Alumnae dinners and Hahnemann Retiree's lunches (both recently held in May 2017). She was always the life of the gathering and will be sorely missed. My sincere condolences to her family.

I worked for Lois in the late 90s at Memorial hospital. She gave me a chance and started me on my path to going back and getting my LPN. A great boss but even a better person! RIP

Lois was a great, caring, outspoken and loving member of our concordia family. She will remain in all our hearts for ever and ever.

Lois had a biting wit, a quirky charm and a beautiful soul and she will be sorely missed! She was a lady who knew her responsibilities, shouldered them well and came back for more! Lois was faithful, kind, a huge animal lover and full of spunk! She will be missed! She was an original! Our love and prayers go out to Rob, Susan, Carole, Richard and their families and Cole!
