Lois M. Chandler

Chandler, Lois M. Passed away on January 24th at the age of 79. Beloved daughter of the late Lawrence, Sr and Mary Louise (nee Boehme) Reiring. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her first husband, Alan Bunte, after 17 years of marriage. Sadly, her second husband of 41 years, Richard Chandler, passed away in December 2025. She is the dear sister of Larry, Jr (Diane) Reiring and Debbie (late Gary) Berling. Cherished aunt of Larry Reiring III, David (Linda) Reiring, Tom (Michelle) Reiring, Steve (Stacey) Berling, and Mike (Emily) Berling. Great aunt of Emily (Alec and their girls Quincy and Layla), Ali (Sam), Elliot, Jane, Finneus, Harrison, Natalie, Ava, and Chase.

Lois's family grew when she married Rick. She is survived by her step children, Richard (Kris) Chandler, David Chandler, Brenda Chandler, and Marc (Liz) Chandler. Step grandma of Jackie, Noel, Richard, Christine, Theresa, Ashley, and Katherine and great step grandma of 6.

After graduating from Seton High School in 1964, Lois worked for AT&T for 30 years until her retirement. Lois and Rick then moved to Florida to enjoy their senior years together. She kept busy reading romance novels and working on various needlework projects. She made something for just about everyone in the family. Together, they enjoyed traveling, trying different restaurants, playing cards, shuffle board, bowling, and golf. When family came to visit, their community swimming pool was always a hit. Lois's activities were limited after her golf cart was hit by a car, but Rick enriched her life as much as physically possible for their last 21 years together. Rick truly lived out his marriage vows to Lois through sickness and health, and Lois loved and cherished all of us.

Visitation Tuesday, February 3rd from 10am - 11:30am at Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home, 3155 Harrison Ave Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Ignatius of Loyola Church, 5222 N Bend Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45247. Memorials may be made to Seton High School or charity of one's choice.
