Lois Morgan Clements, age 88, of Hermitage, Tennessee passed away on February 22, 2024. She was born to the late James and Nursie Morgan on March 15, 1935 in Woodbury, Tennessee.
Lois had a contagious sense of humor that made you laugh, even in her last days. She was a lady of style who loved fashion and perfectly coordinated outfits. Lois was circumspect, waiting 64 years to marry the right man. Lois loved attending the Covenant Class at Trevecca Community Church.
Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Clements; parents, James Dewey Morgan and Nursie Burks Morgan; and brother, James Morgan, Jr.
Lois is survived by her stepdaughters, Lori (John) Harris and Lisa (Rod) Runyon; grandchildren, Nathan (Kiarah) Runyon, Sarah (Daniel) Sauls, Austin (Amy) Runyon, and Andrew (Cara) Harris; great grandchildren, Samarah Runyon and Desmond Harris; sister-in-law, Grace Morgan; nieces, Judy (Bob) Lohr, Angie Morgan, and Cheryl (Bert) Cleveland; nephews, Mike (Michelle) Morgan and Noah Cleveland; sister, Avelene Warren; best friend, Bobbie Cummings; cousin, Russell (Wanda) Burks; cousin once removed, Terry (Chastity) Burks; and 1st cousin twice removed, J'Khari Burks.
A graveside service will be held for Lois on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Hendersonville Memory Gardens (353 E. Main St. Hendersonville, Tennessee 37075).
