Lois Cochran Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bridges Funeral Home on Dec. 30, 2025.
Lois "Faye" (Griffey) Cochran - age 80, of Mascot, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025.
She was an angel on earth and now has her heavenly wings. She was a loving wife, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and most of all, a wonderful mother who will be greatly missed. She was a member of Rutledge Pike Missionary Baptist Church. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, as well as other family. Her family was her everything, and she loved them with a passion. She took care of their family business, and she sewed for others when her children were little. She was an absolute genius at sewing. But her most important job was taking care of her family.
Lois was preceded in death by her beloved sweetheart husband of 61 years, Donald Cochran; parents, Rufus and Eva Griffey; and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her loving and devoted children: sons, Jerry (Lisa) Cochran and Greg (Brandi) Cochran; daughter, Missi (Dewayne) Bowers; grandchildren, Briana (Jacob) Chandler, Logan Faye Bowers, Savannah Cochran, Larissa Cochran, Landon Bowers, and Alli Cochran; great-grandchildren, Jackson Chandler and Braylin Bowers; sister, Brenda Griffey; brothers, Junior Griffey, Steve Griffey, and Rick Griffey; and several special nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Bridges Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 PM, with Pastor Clifford Fraker officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM on Saturday at Rutledge Pike Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11:00 AM Graveside Service.
