Lois Cunningham

Lois Marie Cunningham, of McGregor, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024, at Golden Horizon in Aitkin. She was 84 years old.
Lois was born on November 2, 1939, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to parents Russel and Gertrude (Fisher) Dickison. She was united in marriage to Robert Cunningham and blessed with four children, Cheryl, Russel, Vicky, and Richard. Lois worked at Honeywell for many years.
Lois loved to make all kinds of crafts and was part of the quilting group at the church. She enjoyed helping at church events whenever possible.
Her granddaughter Sarah held a very special place in her heart. Lois enjoyed taking trips to the casino, having Sarah paint her nails and do her hair in all different colors. Lois always looked forward to visits with her brother Dick and sister Kathy. She will be dearly missed.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Robert; grandson Matt; and 4 brothers and 1 sister.
She is survived by her children, Cheryl Cunningham (Sam DeMenge), Russel (Wendy) Cunningham, Vicky Evanov, and Richard Cunningham; 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; siblings, Richard "Dick" (Sue) Dickison, and Kathy Dickison; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at the United Methodist Church in McGregor with Pastor Diane Brennan officiating.
A luncheon will follow the service.
A private family Inurnment will be in the Lansford Cemetery near McGregor.
