Lois Irene Cusick age 90 of Coloma passed away on Sunday July 13, 2025 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on January 20, 1935 in Geuda Springs, KS. Lois worked as a switch board manager for the telephone company in Kansas until she married Francis Cusick in 1960 in Kansas. The couple then moved to Watertown, WI where she worked as a telephone operator. The couple then moved to Edgerton where Lois worked as the office manager of the Edgerton Reporter Newspaper until her retirement and then moved to Coloma. Lois enjoyed crocheting, knitting and spending time with her family and friends.
Lois is survived by her husband: Francis Cusick; sons: Robert (Peggy) Cusick, Michael (Jody) Cusick; grandchildren: Amy (David) Hornady, Sonny, Jocine and Chase Cusick; great grandchildren: Aubrey and London; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; one brother and daughter: Francine Holtz.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Coloma with burial to follow at Prince of Peace Lutheran Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends at church on Thursday from 9:30AM until the time of Services at 11AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the Children's Miracle Network or St. Jude’s's Hospital.
The family would like to thank all of the different care givers Lois had over the years for the compassion and care offered to Lois.
