She married Donald W. Eddington on October 29, 1949. Lois was co-owner and operator of Lincoln Trails Mobile Home Park and also worked as a cook at St. Francis Convent.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, parents, grandparents and her 11 siblings Mildred, William, Myrtle, Carroll, Agnes, Betty, Doris, Delmer, Glen, Leon and Emmett.
She is survived by son Roger and his wife Janet (DeFreitas) Eddington, granddaughters Theresa (Nathan) Shephard and Bobbi Jo (Aaron) Santarelli, great-granddaughter Asiah (Darryl) Sorenson, great-great-grandchildren Deus, Amira and Revan, great-grandson Timothy and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Springfield, Illinois.
Cremation will be provided by Ruby Funeral Services & Crematories.
