Obituary Lois Jane Booker- Hayes, affectionately known as “Tootie” to some and “LoLo” to others. She was called to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Chippenham Hospital. Lois resided in Richmond, Va with her devoted daughter, and son-in-law. She was the daughter of the late Edith Campbell, and Benjamin Joshua Booker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Douglas Hayes,Sr, two sons, Douglas Hayes, Lee Hayes, Jr., two sisters Carolyn Booker-Hastings, Alma Maxine Clay, brother David Booker. 

Lois attended Russell Grove High School. At an early age she joined Manassas Hill Baptist Church. She loved to travel. She loves helping any, and everyone. She loves cooking, and watching football especially when the Eagles play. She loved her Tyler Perry shows and movies. When there was a party or get together she was there. 

She was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Lee Hayes, Sr on May 8, 1971 to that union three children were born. Lois loved the lord, and would always tell you that “family needs to stick together,” she loved children, especially her grandchildren, and her two bonus grandchildren. 

She leaves to cherish her memories, devoted daughter,Takiyah Banks (Derrell Banks); Adopted daughter, Gina Brown (Tasha Winstead), two brothers, James Booker (Sonia), Tyrone Booker; devoted sisters, Martha Morgan, Thelma Eggleston, Irene Taylor; five grandchildren, Alvon, Jr, Johnathan, Bennita, Jahsim, and Divine; two adopted granddaughters, Saffiyyah, Jasmine; two adopted grandsons,Javonte, Jahalil; Two great-grandchildren, Kiersten, Ocean; two bonus grandchildren, Tayshaun Banks, Nevaeh Banks; two God sons, Derrick Booker (Alaine Booker) Darryl Booker; God daughter, Courtney Worsham; devoted nieces, Marshell Woodley, and Jane Morgan; devoted nephews, Thaddis Goodson, Jr.(Jennsye), Rodney Booker, (Katrina), James White, Jr. (Dannetta), two uncles, William Campbell (Shirley), Richard Campbell; Devoted cousins, Audrey Giles, James Giles, Jr., Hazel Hicks (Melvin), Harold Williams (Gail), Ronald Williams (Beverly), Bridget Yates (Waverly), Eldridge Royal (Ann), Donald Thompkins, James Royal, Alma Winston, Doris Reed; Devoted friends, Susie James, Mary Johnson, Pastor Grace Tolliver, Diane Easley, Frances Eagleton, Theron Eagleton (Bertine), Jerry Eagleton, Larry Stone, Armstead Thompkins; special thanks to JenCare Senior Medical Center-Hull Street, 7-Eleven (4810 Forest Hill), host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
